Vegan Oatein Bites
These Oatein bites are one of my favorite vegan sweet treats to make! Such a simple recipe that requires less than 30 minutes of prep and cook time.
Ingredients:
-1 large banana
-1 cup of gluten free dried oats
-1 Tbs of a nut butter (almond/peanut are good choices)
-a lot of cinnamon
-1-2 Tbs of chia seeds
-chocolate chips (optional)
-shredded coconut
-1-2 scoops of a protein powder (vanilla flavor is favorable)
-touch of almond milk or water is needed sometimes
-drop of Nutella on the top if you want the extra sweetness
Steps:
First Preheat the oven to 375°F. Mash up the banana in a large bowl until its a pudding like substance. Toss in all of your ingredients into the bowl and mix. The consistency should be similar to cookie dough. I like to add some almond milk or water to the ingredients if it is too dry.
Spray a large pan with a organic coconut or avocado oil. Start scooping out your cookie mix with a tablespoon onto cookie sheet. Sprinkle more coconut and cinnamon on top, and ma. Stick it in the oven for 12 minutes. Enjoy Warm! 🙂
You can freeze or refrigerate the cookies so that they last longer. They are perfect for breakfast, a snack, or dessert!! 🙂
